Hermannskogel-Run 2017

Nine brave runners defied the elements of Vienna's highest hill, the Hermannskogel, to reach the fundamental point of Austrian surveying after a sharp 3 km climb. Victory in this 11-th edition of the race was claimed by hobby orienteer Marcus Franz Glaner (16:15 min), edging both Michael Wimmer (17:22 min) from the Photogrammetry group and rookie Jakob Gruber (18:22 min). After enjoying the panorama view from the Habsburgwarte, runners and walkers teamed up to round out the event with dinner and the award ceremony at Gasthof Waldgrill.
