Hana Krásná is a PostDoc scientist, working at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation, Research Group Advanced Geodesy. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on determination of geodynamic parameters from Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), such as frequency- and latitude- dependent complex Love and Shida numbers. Hana Krásná is member of the VLBI group at the Department and develops the Vienna VLBI Software VieVS. She concentrates on deformation of the Earth - in particular solid Earth tidal displacement, determination of terrestrial and celestial reference frames and estimation of various global parameters from multiple VLBI sessions. She was the principal scientist in the FWF Project P23143 Integrated VLBI. Since 2014 is she the head of the Hertha Firnberg FWF Project Earth-based VLBI in the Galactic Frame (T 697-N29).
